Behind the Scenes:
The Cannabition Museum in Las Vegas was one of the wildest custom builds we’ve taken on. The founders of Cinema Greens were first approached at an industry convention in 2017 with a big ask: design a huggable, 8-foot-tall bud forest.

To pull it off, we teamed up with Hollywood sculptor Leo Rijn (Edward Scissorhands, Marvel films), who carved the first “Big Buds” out of foam. From there, our team layered on silicone, glow pigments, preserved moss, and hand-painted details—everything from resin-like glass drops to pipe-cleaner trichomes—to give them an organic, psychedelic look. Each one weighed over 300 pounds and shipped out to Vegas in custom crates.

The project didn’t stop there: we also created oversized cannabis leaves, a full seed-to-stem grow room, and smaller buds for installations like the giant “Bag O’ Buds” and the Bud Pool. It was a massive fabrication challenge, but the end result gave the museum an unforgettable, larger-than-life cannabis experience.
