Behind the Scenes:
We created a custom diorama designed for use in an educational display. The base was built from a real peanut crate, layered with a hand-crafted latex dirt skin and burlap to give the look of freshly turned soil. A silk peanut plant and root system were fabricated, detailed with wire and brown paper, then dusted with soil for added realism. To finish it off, actual peanuts were carefully attached to the roots, completing a museum-quality representation of how peanuts grow underground.
